DC sure is a change of pace from Anchorage. For one, there's actually people here, and for two.. there's actually people here. And by people I mean civilians, really, because the base was obviously full of people. Still is, too, but now I've got a million more people (give or take a few hundred thousand, right) to try and be more attractive than. What hard work.
In other news, apparently Target was having a sale on Mountain Dew (the kind with real sugar in it) and frozen meals; not just ANY frozen meals, but those wacky Kid's Cuisine things I remember from like, second grade. Turns out they taste like ass, but I guess I was too young to care. At least mine came with gummy worms. And the fish sticks were good, too.
